Industrial Filtration Sdn Bhd has been leading in the market for dust and process filters servicing local and overseas industries for 30 over years, servicing some of the biggest brands in Asia. This is a great opportunity to join a team of trained and talented sales personnel to expand in a fast-paced growing filtration industry.
Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for targeting and selling our products and services to clients in the heavy industries sector, including cement plants, power plants, chemical processing facilities, wastewater treatment plants, and other relevant industries. Your primary focus will be on building relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and achieving revenue targets.
Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
- Prospect, identify, and target potential clients in the heavy industries sector, specifically cement plants, power plants, chemical processing facilities, wastewater treatment plants, and other relevant industries where filtration is required
- Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders within the target industries.
- Present and demonstrate our products and services effectively to potential clients, highlighting their value proposition and benefits.
- Collaborate with the business development team to develop tailored solutions that meet clients’ specific requirements.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of agreements to secure profitable sales deals.
Relationship Management:
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients to maximize customer satisfaction and retention.
- Provide exceptional customer service, address client concerns, and offer post-sales support.
- Understand clients’ evolving needs and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling our products and services.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing industry insights, recommendations, and continuous support.
Sales Strategy and Reporting:
- Work closely with the Sales Manager to develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans.
- Regularly analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics, and provide regular updates to the Sales Manager.
- Contribute to the development of marketing campaigns and promotional activities to support sales efforts.
- Industry Knowledge and Networking:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulations affecting the heavy industries sector
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with potential clients and industry professionals.
- Actively participate in industry associations, forums, and business communities to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Sales Executive or similar role, preferably with filtration applications
- Strong understanding of the heavy industries market
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Results-driven mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and resilient with a strong customer focus.
- Familiarity with sales techniques and CRM software.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree is acceptable
